There is more than one artist with this name: 1)Yaatri is a popular band from Bangladesh. Yaatri is a two man band who came together when both members were searching for their musical identities. Topu (Vocal,songwriter) and Emran (Keys,production) both met in NSUSS(North South University Shangskritik Shongothon) and they started jamming. Their first single Ek Paye Nupur was released in a mixed album called Shopnopchura. After that they composed another single titled Ekta Gopon Kotha which was featured in sequel album Shopnochura II. It was a massive hit and was one of the highlights of that album. Their success didn't go unnoticed and G Series offered them a record deal.After 8 months Yaatri finished their debut album named Daak in October 2006 releasing it with a Bang. Very quickly it became a massive hit and took the number 1 place at the top charts. Their music is simple yet soulful melodies filled with a medley of various accoustic and electronic sounds; and romantic and awakening lyrics. 2) Yaatri is a Scottish composer who has to date released two albums In The Company Of Angels (2001) and STAR (2006). Yaatri is also heavily involved with Brainheart Music.
