On his second album CAMERA, Zool. broadens his universe by blending his own dubby electronics with new organic influences such as minimal folk (cfr Penguin Cafe Orchestra) or worldmusic (cfr Yann Tiersen or Goran Bregovic) resulting in an even more cinematic feel than before. Hence the titel of the album. Zool. is the moniker of Gerry Vergult. Gerry has a long history in Belgian popmusic, starting out in the early eighties with his band Aroma Di Amore, who already mixed guitars with electronics. Throughout the years Gerry developped his skills in electronic musicmaking. This resulted in several projects for theatre and movies. And with the evergrowing possibilities of computer technology, he totally surrendered to the bits and bytes. In 2004 Zool. released his first cd zoolepone, followed by zooleptwo in 2005 and Vadem, the first full album in 2006. The second album, Camera, was released in september 2009. Read more on Last.fm.
