There are at least 2 artists named Bunda: 1. BUNDA is a semi-serious, quasi-anonymous collective of dubstep producers from around the world, masquerading as an elderly man. They mostly release their music for free download/streaming on SoundCloud, though they would later release two EPs on streaming platforms: BUNDA WORLDWIDE EP, released in 2022 through Disciple Round Table, and THE TRUCKER DUB EP in 2023, a remix EP of their song TRUCKER DUB. The artists behind the project were officially revealed in September 2022 through a YouTube video called THE REAL BUNDA EXPOSED. These members include Akeos, nvctve, Dexamp, Veer, Voysol (aka Hass Effect), VANM and many others, The project remains active as of 2024. 2. Brisbane artist James Williams AKA Bunda began making music in 2004 working with the Impossible Odds crew, Indigenous Intrudaz, EMR, Poetic Murriz, Floyyd and Sparks, Cat Thompson, Mr Birds AKA Gamarang from Culture Connect and Leylines before collaborating with Dub Temple Records on the 'King Tubby Beat Tape' in July 2011. Bunda also released his self-titled EP through Dub Temple Records in 2011 and followed up with a heavy, at times sensuous and thought-provoking EP 'Balgoyne', which will appeal to oldschool Hip Hop lovers and next-level beat connoisseurs alike.
