Jacek Stępniewski, Fajfer. Born on 30th of April 81' in Warsaw - Poland. In '90 electronic music exploded exploring new horizons, witch was his inspiration. He became fascinated with mixing vinyls and in 2000 he played for the first time to the public in one of Warsaw's clubs. In 2001, together with a group of friends founded the collective Reformation, which gained many devoted fans all over Poland. During this period he played fast, energetic, pumping tunes mainly from the UK. Over time, his musical taste started to run away from the straight and forward tunes and his music began to slow down, looking for energy in other areas. Many people are accustomed to Fajfer’s playing, were unhappy and complained that too slow, too slow, too slow. (blah – tempo is not the key…) As a result, after 4 - 5 years soundsystem Reformation came time to solve the group, keeping good memories to go further ... By those 10 years Fajfer played in many events, often as a support of the most famous electronic music artists such as Jeff Mills, Chris Liberator, Mark Sinclair, Oberon. For some time he working on their own productions, but his critical approach to his own work puts the bar high, perhaps too high.
