There are six artists known as Featherweight: 1) Featherweight is a punk/post hardcore/screamo band from Fort Lauderdale FL, in the vein of Knapsack, Small Brown Bike, and Jawbreaker. 2) Featherweight is a Madrid based band whose main inspirations come from punk, grunge and emo bands. Having released their first EP 'A Place Where My Mind Crumbles' in 2019, they toured in Spain to promote it. In February they released their everything i wanted cover, originally by billie ellish. 3) Boston, MA (2009 - 2011). Featherweight was a D.I.Y. emotive hardcore band formed in July 2009 and broke up in October 2011. Members went on to play with bands such as Cerce, Hospice, Callow, among others. Anti-war, anti-violence, anti-sexist, anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-homophobic, straight edge, ALWAYS D.I.Y. emotive hardcore. We try to capture the opposing forces we're all pulled towards everyday, and we channel our passions through our music, lyrics, and art. Every song is about the struggle to find moderation in a world of extremes, the gray between the black and white. We're on a search for the ever elusive balance between chaos and order, love and lust, personal responsibility and societal duty, remembering and forgetting, past and future, fate and free will. We'll probably never capture all of this in our music, but this is our fight and we won't quit without trying. 4) Featherweight is a Swedish shoegaze band. 5) Melodic Hardcore from Adelaide Australia 6) Featherweight is an aggressive post-hardcore band from Akron, Ohio looking to carve out a unique spot in the world of rock and roll music. Their new EP 'Sleep Well' is influenced by the grittier facets of the punk and metal genres, while still maintaining the pacing and timbre characteristic of a post hardcore album.
