Motorpig is a dark electronica project from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Its music ranges from slow pulsing drone rhythms to abstract ambient soundscapes flavored with field recordings. Motorpig was created in 2012, by Mykola Yosypenko, who has been its only member. Mykola was introduced to music at a young age, created his first sampler by the age of 14 from two used tape recorders and was quickly involved in audio experiments. Since then, he started graduate forming a style of music he admits has been influenced by a lot of pro-industrial bands who combined elements of rhythm, techno, noise, dark ambient and weird fantastic soundscapes.
