mousetrapping is a side / main project created by art-pop and electronic artist Collin Akers, otherwise known as rybbon. mousetrapping has been stated as an outlet for Akers to release more of his sample centric work, being seen previously on his album cuts under the rybbon name, which Akers had released back in 2021. Mixing elements of Glitch music with vaporwave and plunderphonics, Akers creates post-internet sound collages and soundscapes filled with recognizable songs and video clips.
