painperception. has been established as a solo project of Pestilence, after disbanding Algaesthesia - a raw, depressive black metal project. Pestilence, looking for something milder in form, but equally expressive in its content, began to combine melancholic post black metal with depressive rock, adding some taste of doom metal or atmospheric black. Initially, he planned to release a new album under the label of Algaesthesia, but after some time decided to set up something new and cut off from his previous work. So that's how the plans of releasing the album were born. End Is In The Beginning is going to be a travel through the corridors of artist's twisted mind. In eight instrumental tracks, we are experiencing both the speed and power of black metal, as well as nostalgic, spatial soundscapes, characteristic for post-rock. All is wrapped in feelings of sadness, fear and hopelessness. As an artist states, the album will be released in 2012.
