Ponton are an electro / acoustic band playing since 2008. The band sees their music as a collection of storytelling soundscapes, narrated by field recordings, acoustic guitar and electronics. Each of those (music pieces) were carefully selected from the recordings of numerous live concerts, as they believe that their music can not be recorded in the studio. It is only valid if they play it live for the audience. Therefore, they recorded each concert and carefully chose the versions of the music pieces to feature on the album. This is minimal-ambient and field recordings from the press of the play button. Themes involved are obviously dark, abstract, cloudy, gloomy and misty.
