Based in Australia, Jac Neich (professionally known as ‘qoru’) is a Multi Instrumentalist and Producer of genres such as Hip Hop, Drum And Bass, Ambience, and Alternative music. Noticed by the likes of Freddie Dredd, and Double A-Ron to name a few, He started producing hip hop music reminiscent of the 1990’s when he was 15. He began to distribute his music on SoundCloud going under a persona named ‘jxcques’ which was later changed after the release of his 2020 mixtape ‘qoru, vol. 1’. In February of 2021 he released the following sequel, ‘vol. 2’. After he found his place in the industry, qoru shook the ground with project after project, making 2021 not only his third year as a fully fledged producer but his most fruitful year to date. These projects would include ‘’ as well as releasing his first commercial album ‘’ featuring and . His second album, ‘’ (released 29th October) held no features and reached the number one placement on the Bandcamp discover page for instrumental hip hop before its release. “” was used as the headlining song for a bandcamp radio exclusive, titled ‘The Hip Hop Show’ Episode 25, on October 22nd. In 2022 He released the likes of ‘The Morning After’, ‘ELECTRONICA’, ‘it’s whatever’, and ‘MIRACLE WORKER’ which reached an audience of over 300,000+ people, as well as being co-signed by Freddie Dredd. His latest studio project (which according to him, is his most invigorating project to date) ‘Do What You Love’, released on the 30th of July, 2023, with a Spotify editorial placement into the 'Mellow Styles' playlist.
