Ricochet.com is a center-right/conservative social networking website and group blog similar to Facebook and Twitter. The driving forces behind the group is former Reagan administration speechwriter and current Hoover Institute fellow Peter Robinson (best known for writing the line Tear Down This Wall) along with television producer Rob Long (best know for making Cheers). It has the goal of making conservative ideas fun, light-hearted, and accessible. Contributors to the website include conservative figures such as Mark Steyn, Victor Hanson Davis, John Yoo, Shelby Steele, and Claire Berlinski as well as musician Joe Escalante of the influential punk group The Vandals. Harry Shearer also contributes. The website has released, as of June 2010, twenty podcasts through iTunes and other sources. There are multiple unrelated artists known as Ricochet.
