Set Sail are an indie pop duo. Composed of Daniel Tongue (lead guitarist and bassist) and Hannah Brown (Vocalist and Guitarist). These two performers would seem the most unlikely musicians to work together, Hannah: a folk musician with a knack for heartfelt performances and Danny: a High velocity roaring indie riff making machine, but when you put the two together they make some beautifully inspiring music. They formed in late November 2012, whilst studying music at Birmingham City University. They first met in 2011 at South & City College Birmingham. From constant live performances and working on assignments together, their friendship grew and a musical connection formed. After seeing how well they worked together they decided to start collaborating, which turned out to be a success. This was the beginning of Set Sail. Set Sail started Recording their EP in late 2012 and released their debut single in April 2013. Their EP Back To Back, which they’re currently working on, will be released June 14th 2013. The pop duo are working closely to uphold their signature sound previously heard in their debut single “You Don’t Seem To Learn”. They’re hoping to gig around the local area and make some connections with other aspiring musicians. Danny And Hannah are currently working on an acoustic version of their EP which they will be adding to their live set. With this extra diversity added to their live performance, they will certainly not disappoint! Read more on Last.fm.
