チャクラ
チャクラ (also known as CHAKRA) were a Japanese pop group featuring Bun Itakura, Donbay Nagata, Kazuto Shimizu, 小川美潮 (Mishio Ogawa) and Tatsuo Kondo. Singer Mishio Ogawa joined the newly formed band as a 19-year-old in 1978 after attending vocalist auditions. In 1980 チャクラ released their debut album Chakra, produced by Makoto Yano. The album's first track Fuku no tane was released as a single in June 1980, with the album's second track Mannequin as the B-side. Their second album さてこそ (Satekoso) was released in November 1981. It was produced by Haruomi Hosono and nine of the ten tracks were composed by guitarist Bun Itakura. Their third album 南洋でヨイショ was released in 1983. After a final concert at the Aoyama Tower Hall, the band broke up. A 30th anniversary edition of Satekoso was released in 2011 with five bonus tracks mainly comprising early takes of tracks on the album. Read more on Last.fm.
