The winner of a nation-wide talent search by Sony, Inoue Marina made her debut in the Anime world as the titular lead character in OAV, Le Portrait de Petite Cosette, opposite Saiga Mitsuki. She is also known for playing Kanmuri Shigeru in Yakitate! JaPan and more recently for her lead role as Tsukuda Mina/Tsukishiro Miina in the Densha Otoko spinoff, Getsumen To Heiki Miina.
