初音

Hatsune (初音), or formerly Okumura Hatsune (奥村初音), is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter on avex trax. Born in the Osaka Prefecture, she was named Hatsune, meaning “first note,” by her music-loving parents. She began taking ballet and piano lessons at an early age, and in her fifth year of elementary school, began writing and composing her own music.
