陳芳榮

Dr. Edwin Tanner (陳芳榮博士) is one of the few pioneers in Hong Kong’s contemporary Gospel music movement. As singer/songwriter, his works can be found in some 120 recordings. Edwin has performed on TV, in concert halls, stadiums, shopping malls, schools, parks, churches, rehabilitation centres, and prisons. He has been singing and sharing in many different countries including Canada, U.S.A., U.K., China, Singapore, and Malaysia. Edwin has a solid educational background: he has a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Leicester, Master of Education from University of Western Australia, Master of Theological Studies from Ontario Theological Seminary, Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Furthermore, he also received training in modeling and acting. Besides performing, arranging, producing, and teaching music, Edwin plays a number of instruments including keyboards, drums, guitar, and banjo. Over the years Edwin has won various song writing awards, both local and abroad. He played lead roles in Educational TV dramas, and took part in singing TV commercials in Hong Kong.
