Kim Jung-ah (김정아; born August 2, 1983, in Seoul, South Korea) is a member and lead vocalist of the South Korean idol group, After School. Beginning her music career in 2005, she debuted in the short-lived group KIS Five, but they soon disbanded for undisclosed reasons and she went on to be accepted by Pledis Entertainment. Before her debut in After School, Jung-ah featured as both a back-up dancer and back-up vocalist in 손담비's "Cry Eye", and then followed to release "AH!" with After School. Since then, the group has released three EPs, two digital singles, and a full album. Jung-ah made her solo debut in a song titled "귀여운 넌 (You're Cute)" for the original soundtrack for Pasta, a Korean drama, and her latest solo endeavor is the ballad "My Bell", found on After School's album "VIRGIN".
