7 was founded by guitarist Lorenzo Chacon with the release of "Ascension in Descension" in 2008. 7 featured a revolving lineup of musicians who held exclusive performances throughout the western United States for private adult events. In 2011 the free album "Death Flower Vol. I" was released and the track "The Freak Likes it" was used in the film "Model Minority".
