There are multiple artists under the name Artbeat. 1) A South-Korean girl group. 2) A Japanese rock band based in the U.S 1) ARTBEAT (아트비트) is a South-Korean girl group under the label AB Creative and promoted by UniqueTunes Records. They're are also apart of the dance cover group AB Project. The members are: Seyoung, Yubin, Yoojin, Damhee, Gaeun, Sieun and Haeun. They debuted on November 16 2022 with their 1st mini album MAGIC with the title track MAGIC. 2) Artbeat introduces their new style of Japanese American rock, a mixture of the sensitive melodies of Japanese rock and the emotional heaviness of American rock. Artbeat has been performing at various venues in Los Angeles as one of the few Japanese rock bands in the U.S. The energetic trio features the bilingual punk rock charisma Jack on vocals and guitar, along with the powerful rhythm section composed of the unstoppable Jet on bass and the tiniest giant Masato on drums. Artbeat also has been appearing at various anime and Japanese rock conventions and grabbing hundreds of fans’ hearts in different areas of California. Their nonstop high-energy rock ‘n roll circus is taking over the scene in Los Angeles with their unique bilingual blend of catchy melodies and high-speed rocking riffs. Revolution is just an Artbeat away!!! History: In October 2005, Jack (vocal and guitar), Masato (drums), and Paul (ex-guitar) jammed at the recommendation of a mutual friend. They liked each other’s playing and songwriting capabilities, and decide to start a band together with help from Paul’s ex-band member Mike (ex-bass). They name their band Artbeat and start playing shows in Los Angeles. In mid 2006, Mike leaves to pursue his own project, but the band continues to play shows in various areas of California with the new member Jet (bass). In late 2006, Paul leaves the band to pursue a different musical path on his own. Meanwhile, the band keeps playing shows with only 3 members in the band, the current line-up of Artbeat.
