Azoto

Azoto defined the Italian disco sound before the whole "Italo Disco" thing when producer Claudio Simonetti teamed up with Celso Valli in 1978. Despite releasing only two albums, they still made their mark on disco history with atmospheric and cheerful tunes that stay in one's mind, such as San Salvador and Any Time Or Place. Songs by Azoto have been sampled several times for so-called "Disco House" records. Read more on Last.fm.
