Bearcubbin'!

Bearcubbin'! is a band from Portland, Oregon. They formed in 2009 after the temporary hiatus of The Jezebel Spirit and the break up of Moses, Smell the Roses. Mike Byrne (Moses, Smell the Roses, The Smashing Pumpkins, Jewels & the Wallwalkers) and James Crutcher (Moses, Smell the Roses, With Eyes Abstract) approached Chris Scott (The Jezebel Spirit) about writing material for a show that was in a week. They created roughly 50 minutes of material which ended up becoming their first album "Live From the Bear Trap" (2009). James left the group right before the band recorded a split with Jewels & the Wallwalkers (2010) leaving Chris Scott to record bass on two of the songs, James recently joined the group again to help write new material which became "Get Your Heavies Out" (2011).
