Cheekyboy is a mashup DJ from Essex, UK Cheekyboy aka LaptopPunk began mashing in the early 1990's using a commodore Amiga hooked up to a cassete deck. Since then times have moved on thankfully and over the past few years Cheekyboy has released over 200 mashups receiving radio play on BBC Radio 1, XFM, OuiFm, Essex FM, Washington DC101, BRIDGE FM and many more. Cheekyboy has also had several mashes included on DMC's Monthly DJ Promos, a track on the James Hyman Quentin Tarantino Mashup CD as well as inclusion in several other large-scale mashup projects: The fantastic Son of Monster Mashup, Bride of Monster Mashup, Mashing Pumpkins, Night of the living Monster Mashup, Summer Booty, Santastic & more! The LaptopPunk mashup forum opened 5 years ago continues to be very popular and is a great place to get extra exposure for your mashups.
