Claustrum

There are currently at least 2 bands named Claustrum - 1) a Latvian industrial band and 2) an Italian death metal band. 1) Claustrum are one of the pioneering acts from Rīga, Latvia of the Latvian industrial scene. Since 1992 they have been experimenting, breaking the barriers of styles of industrial and electronic music, crossing over from minimalism and dark ambient to orchestral industrial, neoclassical and power electronics. Drawing their inspiration from sci-fi, horror, authors like Poe and Lovecraft and the misery of human existence, Claustrum delivers some crypt-reeking, disturbing death metal, heralding the impending Apocalypse.
