DUHNP
DUHNP (Do Uvagy Hvoryh Na Phenilketoniriyu) [ukr.”Attention to patients with phenylketonuria”] is the experimental music band formed in 1969 by Aq, Kr and Ap. Shortly, after the band was created, band members have tried to get some ideas for the songs. But in 1969 there were lots of bands that played mostly new and original songs, so it was hard to create something uncommon. In late 1969 the band members invented a time-machine, but instead of coming back, they moved forward by a mistake and appeared in the year of 2009. After that incident the band started it’s activity by experimenting with sounds and sounding using modern digital technologies and making material on-the-spot without writing or thinking of new tracks content due to a brain damage that was resulted by a time trip. Also, because of that brain damage all the band members think that they’re still in 1969. In the year of 2012 (1972 from the band member’s point of view) a musician and a friend of the band Kl has joined the guys on guitar and mostly backing vocals. Shortly after that another new people started joining the band. All the songs were completely improvised until the recording of album called “Baldinia, the 1000 Names of iDolls” started. Sometimes band members use different domestic things to make music. Such as glass, chopsticks etc. Main (“Core”) members: Aq (2009-present) – vocals, harmonica, different things; Kr (2009-present) – guitars, bass, arrangement, keyboards, drums, percussion, vocals, different things; Ap (2009-present) – bass, guitars, vocals, keyboards, percussion, melodica, different things, management; Occasional (“Recurring”) members: Kl (2012-present) – guitar, vocals; Band discography: Full-length albums: Baldinia, the 1000 Names of iDolls (2012) 6669 (2013) EPs: The Lost Exxtra Fucks EP (2012) Demo recordings: Demos… Desperados (2009) Piss (2010) Unreal Deal (2010) ZNO goes to Brazil (It’s an Indian Cat) EP (2010) HD (2011) Heil, DUHNP!
