Diferenz

Diferenz is a Swiss DJ and trip-hop artist signed to Shadow Records. His music combines aspects of hip-hop, jazz, electronica, and soul. Diferenz graduated from the local clubs to touring and working on the international circuit, where he worked with such names as Mo' Wax Records' James Lavelle, Talkin' Loud Records' Gilles Peterson, and London's Norman Jay. Struck by the lyrical interplay between the street beats and the jazz improvisation, Diferenz began to experiment with live musicians in the mix. He has released two albums, Jazz Workshop (1995), and More Noize Please (1996), a collaboration with Jazz Con Bazz. Read more on Last.fm.
