Dragibus
Orbiting around the core personalities of Lore ("The Giraf") and Franq ("Franqo Rythmo"), Dragibus is an electro-pop band with a particularly juvenile bent... which possibly explains the presence, at other stages of the group's history, of members with names like "Mami-chan" and "Mister Penguin". Toddling out of the French noise and punk scenes in 1995, they've made a career out of an odd fusion of '60s pop sounds, toy instruments, multilingual lullabies, cheap synths and the sort of pastel of pastel cartoon imagery that goes over really well in Japan, where their last few albums have been released by omnivorous licensing machine P-Vine. Further information and dancing Flash crocodiles are available, in French and English, at http://www.myspace.com/dragibusmusic. (Nobody is entirely sure which languages the crocodile speaks.)
