Drewo

This is an Ukrainian group established by students, absolvents and professors of Kiev National Music Academy. Drewo started its existence in 1979 in Kiev and was the first group that initiated the stream of "authentic music" in Ukraine. Their repertoir consists from traditional songs of central and eastern Ukraine. Those songs were collected during ethnographic expeditions and then performed by Drewo. Read more on Last.fm.
