Eli Guttman (born October 12, 2000), known mononymously as Eli, is an American singer and songwriter from Connecticut establishing herself as a bold voice in queer pop music. She first gained recognition on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic for vulnerable, voice-driven pop ballads, often recorded in her childhood bedroom. In 2025, she teased snippets of her song Marianne which gained critical praise online, leading to its release on streaming platforms. Following this, clips of her song Girl of Your Dreams went viral, leading to its release alongside Fortunately 4 U and God Bless the BFA. Once again garnering much attention online, her track Like a Girl was released. Known for blending pop with alternative and indie influences, Eli draws inspiration from artists like Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Imogen Heap, The 1975, Yebba, SZA, Jazmine Sullivan, Phoebe Bridgers, and Julia Michaels—admiring their vocal agility, emotional depth, and fearless approach to genre.
