Frenum

Frenum is an avant-trash italian duo influenced by a lot of different musicians like: Diamanda Galàs, Chet Baker, Peaches, Bjork, Nina Simone, Oval, Mark Bell and Massive Attack, just to name a few. Their gigs can be compared to great performers shows like Cobra Killer or Leslie Hall. They can alternate joyful pop and frightening dark. Their first album, "Honey" (2007), is a mixture of electro-clash, experimental music and irony, while the lyrics fuse sex, surrealism, blasphemy into mockery. Their first single, "Toilet Paper", deals with a weird perversion about toilet paper and being a floor-tile: it's like hearing Peaches fighting with Diamanda Galàs while Cobra Killer record their squawks. http://www.myspace.com/frenummusic Read more on Last.fm.
