Homecomings

1) Kyoto-based band signed to Second Royal Records. 関西のライブ・ハウスを中心に話題を拡大している女子3名＋男子1名の京都発大学生4人組バンド。ano(t)racks『Soon』、Dead Funny Records『Dead Funny Compilation Vol.1』といった2作のコンピレーション・アルバムに参加、2013年3月にTeen Runningsとのスプリットでリリースした7インチ・アナログは即完売、4月にカリフォルニアのガールユニットSummer Twins、5月にはブルックリンの女性アーティストComputer Magicと共演、6月には下北沢インディーファンクラブに出演と、バンド結成からわずか1年で飛躍的に活動を展開中。デビュー・アルバム「Homecoming with me？」は、SECOND ROYAL RECORDSより2013年6月12日リリース。 https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://homecomings.jp/ 2) Homecomings is the work of Mike Dixon of Bloomington, Indiana. The Homecomings LP was released in a pressing of 100 records in the summer of 2008 to coincide with an August tour of Germany. Gigantic, Rep Seki, and currently plays with the Bloomington band Prayer Breakfast. Dixon a writer for the Make: Magazine blog, and is also a PhD candidate at Indiana University where he is an Associate Instructor of Japanese. But he is most proud of playing bass in Half-handed Cloud's back up band for a tour in the summer of like 2002 or 2003 or something. Read more on Last.fm.
