Jiae

Kim Jiae (Hangul: 김지애; born October 31, 1995 in Cheongju, South Korea) is a South Korean singer. She was a member of the girl group WA$$UP. Jiae debuted as a member of WA$$UP on August 8, 2013 with the group's self-titled digital single. On February 10, 2019, she announced via Instagram that the group had disbanded after six years of activities. On January 11, 2020, Jiae uploaded two photos on her Instagram story coming out as bisexual. It was also revealed that she is currently in a relationship with a girl. On February 11, 2022, Jiae announced that that she will be opening a Makestar funding project to fund her debut solo album.
