Klangklinik

Klangklinik Blog Klangklinik from Basel, Switzerland, is a bunch of people devoted to free improvised jam sessions, exploring experimental sound worlds combined with readings and multi media performances. In the beginning, in 2007, Klangklinik was a lose collective, by now they consist of a hard core of 6 musicians, surrounded by a variable circle of guestmusicians, who get invited for private and public jamsessions. The artist Eddie Hara ususally does livepainting as a part of Klangklinik in public performances. Klangklinik uses classic rock instruments but the sound remains experimental. The sound of Klangklinik is strictly improvised, it has a repetitive character but it doesn’t reconstruct musical concepts. Sometimes psychedelic, sometimes noisy soundscapes are being woven out of the moment and the sound always somehow reflects the atmosphere of a room. Read more on Last.fm.
