Korobase
Even as a child, Mark dreamed of being a musician. He played piano for a couple of years officially, then quit lessons because they were too expensive. But he never gave up his passion, and still plays piano in a sort of freestyle environment. When he got older, he was introduced to the Trance genre accidentally by his cousin. Later on, his tastes for the music developed under the influence of such figureheads as Daft Punk, Paul van Dyk, and Tiesto. In the Summer of 2005, Mark discovered that he had a program on his computer that allowed him to compile crude mixes. From then on, his passion exploded. It started with creating edited versions of songs, then continued on to actual mixes with the introduction of the Virtual DJ program. In the Winter of 2006, Mark met a few people on the internet that really jump-started his career. With the discovery of the FL Studio 6 program, he slowly worked his way to the pieces he makes now. Korobase's passion has always been remixes, and he still holds a lot of pride over his remixes, which are almost always made from scratch without any sampling. He is known to make better covers than original songs. But isn't this how all good artists begin? Read more on Last.fm.
