Malodorous

Malodorous is a brutal death metal/deathcore band originally formed in 2007 as an online project between Chase Martin (Georgia) and Mike O’Hara (New York). Over time, the project evolved into an international lineup with members based in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The band’s music blends relentless brutality with atmospheric undertones, exploring themes of gore, death, violence, and destruction. Their debut album, Amaranthine Redolence, became a cult favorite within the underground scene for its raw production and crushing sound. A fake EP sharing the same title as the debut circulates online, but it was never officially released. Cameron Argon (Disfiguring the Goddess) contributed guest vocals to one track on the debut and to the unreleased song “The Carrion Recoil.” Their long-delayed second album, also titled The Carrion Recoil, was finally completed in 2024.
