Manolin

Manuel González Hernández, known as Manolín (El Médico de la salsa), is a Cuban timba and salsa artist (singer, songwriter and band leader). Typically, his songs begin with generic Salsa before breaking out with a high-energy percussion/bass-led Funk that often leads to screaming riff contests between the horn section and the chorus singers. Of limited vocal range, Manolín nonetheless relies on rap-influenced, chorus vocals that frantically lead to full-force climaxes.
