Mimmit

Mimmit is a duo of two sisters coming from a small village called Rääkkylä near the Russian border in eastern Finland: Pauliina Lerche (vocals, accordion, kantele) and Hannamari Luukanen (vocals, fiddle). Their music is joyful and cheerful. They mix old Karelian traditional music with contemporary sounds. Lyrics are based on mythical Finnish folk tales. Read more on Last.fm.
