Mulm

Mulm is a combination of three of Norway's ambient artists; Hærleif Langås (Northaunt), Avsky and Ketil Søraker (Taphephobia, Aural Whiteout). After a few years of collaborative work, they are presenting a joint project where each members brought their own approach to atmospheric sound creation into a cohesive, mesmerizing whole. On their first album, The End Of Greatness from 2012, each member is drawing inspiration from personal experiences to present their common view of the world. These observations were instinctively translated in the form of six dreamy and utterly bleak ambient compositions where guitar drones merge with abstract soundscapes, all with a northern touch.
