Nabeel “Neblix” Ansari started playing with FL Studio at the early age of 11 years old after finally taking action on his desire to create music as good as he witnessed by watching his brother create little bars that made sound on a computer screen. Shariq “DarkeSword” Ansari lent him his laptop on some days for about an hour, but then he gave up after becoming very frustrated with such a confusing application. When Nabeel received his own laptop, he installed FL Studio on it to try making music again. He’s been constantly creating music and his skill level has been increasing (and to some people, at a very impressive pace) since then. He considers himself a very in depth and experienced user of FL Studio and is not willing to make a switch to any other “industry standard” DAW. Nabeel continued to improve because of encouragement and criticism from the folks at http://ocremix.org/. For 5 years, he’s been constantly taking his work to more talented figures there to get advice on how to improve, which usually results in the finished product being more spectacular than how it started. 17 year old Senior in high school and is self teaching how to play the guitar. Through OverClocked Remix, Nabeel has had the opportunity to make connections with professional video game composers such as Andrew Aversa (SC5). Read more on Last.fm.
