Orbiter

There are four bands named Orbiter: 1) Composed of Harris Thurmond (guitar), Fiia McGann from Goodness (vocals) Stephanie Wicker in organ, Jeff Wood in bass, and Brandon Milner (drums), Orbiter is signed with Loveless Records. Harris Thurmond was the guitarist that gained some fame through his work in the now-disbanded Hammerbox, and here he provides vocals as well. Their sound is often described as mixing trip hop and pop rock. Their 2000 EP Mini LP received some praise from critics and includes the popular "3 AM". Their first full-length album, Sparks On A String includes "Apple Tree." 2) A second band by this name hails from Serbia, and features a metal/thrash sound. They formed in 1995. They are not signed with any label at this time. They have an active MySpace page. 3) Orbiter is a duo formed by artists Stephen Walking & 7 Minutes Dead.
