SWAMPGRAVE

Swampgrave is a Death Metal and Hardcore band hailing from various regions of Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana. Formed in August 2023, the band was founded by guitarist Zane Proffitt, guitarist Shawn Robert, and drummer Max Hatcher. Vocalist and bassist Coy Daigle III joined the lineup in late October 2023. After temporarily taking on drumming duties during the recording of Swampgrave's debut single, "Visceral Tomb", Jack Esposito officially joined as the drummer in early December 2023, replacing Hatcher who departed in late November 2023. In January 2024, Swampgrave announced their inaugural three-day tour. On February 23rd, they released their second single, "Desecrated Conclave", coinciding with their first performance at Lafayette's "Feed 'N' Seed" bar, supported by local acts Void and Herakleion. The following night, Swampgrave joined local Writhings to support the New York Hardcore band Cro-Mags on their "Southeast Tour of 2024" at Baton Rouge's "Chelsea's LIVE" bar. The debut tour concluded with a performance alongside Hardcore locals Muscle and BAG (Bring A Gun) at the "Santos" bar in New Orleans. Read more on Last.fm.
