Saodaj'

If Reunion Island is a crossroads where the world's cultures meet, Saodaj' could be one of its symbols. Their music, through Creole and French, questions the beauties and excesses of our world. Saodaj's socially conscious poetry addresses fundamental themes such as the thirst for justice, the fight for freedom, the duty to remember, and the importance of passing on knowledge. Their musical creation is experienced as a necessity: "It helps us accept the world as it is presented to us today, with its beauties and its ugliness, without resigning ourselves to fate."
