Spüolus
Spüolus arose from the remains of a hungarian underground black metal band called Thy Funeral. This band was much more about than the „art” of the mainly commercialized nowdays black metal groups, so after two demos and two unreleased full lenghter it was put to rest for eternity. The name Spüolus already existed since years with a very deep personal meaning, and in the summer of 2009 the first themes -which were deserved of that name- were born too. The first material of Spüolus (entitled: Behind the Event Horizon) is both a new beginning, and the proud continuation of Thy Funeral’s legacy in a more mature form. The music can be described a mixture of different musical subgenres, with an original eerie cold feeling which shall be the trademark of Spüolus till the end. Maybe the best definition for the music of Spüolus is: ALIEN MISANTHROPIC BLACKENED FUNERAL DOOM METAL. Szabo VOID -the creator behind Spüolus- dedicates all his work in this project firstly to himself, and secondly to individuals, who embrace the real underground spirit and search for real dark feelings in the music. But the existence of Spüolus shall never depend on the opinion of the others. If there are no such people who can understand this art, Spüolus will also practice until Szabo VOID is alive, and when he will die, than it shall be fulfilled and loose the meaning to exist anymore in a musical form.
