Torizon

Torizon are a four piece alternative metal outfit from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. Their music incorporates a fusion of alt metal, hard rock, with elements of metalcore, prog and pop. The band was founded in early 2019 by vocalist Mish Sharma as a passion project after taking a couple of years off music due to a vocal-cord injury. It started with friends getting together to write some music and record until they recruited permanent members. They released their debut EP “Singles Collection” in June 2019 which was produced by Robb Torres (Robbery Inc) and Ian Sefchick (Captiol Records) based in LA. The singles “Hey You” “Find My Way Out” and live cover of “Thoughtless” gained worldwide interest and international coverage! The lineup was finalized in mid-2020 where the band were introduced to 7 String-Master Sarah, Jeremy on Bass, and Aaron on Drums. With the addition of new members and additional skill sets, they were able to invest heavily into their own private professional-level recording and rehearsal studio to ensure that the creativity is not stifled by time and money constraints. On September 19 of 2025, the band released their new EP titled "Meliora" With the new shift in direction on Meliora, Torizon define their own soundscape 'petalcore', a striking blend of metalcore grit, alt-metal heft, and melodic pop finesse.
