Taiwanese dream-pop band U.TA began as a duet in 2006 and released their first album "Good, night" in 2009. U.TA formed as a full band in 2013, and their full-length album "Highway Cruising" was released in 2015. Influenced by bands such as Mazzy Star and Cocteau Twins, the band's music has a psychedelic, airy vibe with traces of slowcore.
