Yanko
Dylan Creffield-Foster, better known by his stage name (formerly known as DY) is a UK Drill rapper from Blackwater Close in Newham, East London. He is a member of the '7th' collective, which is an alliance between the sets of 'Blackwater Close' and 'Woodgrange' in the north of Newham. He is most known for his gritty voice, rude bars and his clever yet often humorous wordplay. He first blew up in 2019 off his debut single Anyone Can Go and subsequently released several other tracks, some in collaboration with other 7th rappers such as Kayzed Official and Y.CB. His music career would be cut short after he was sentenced to prison in late 2019 for his involvement in a drug trade operation. After being released in September 2021 he wasted no time and quickly released two songs via the freestyle platforms 'Plugged In', Yanko x Fumez The Engineer - Plugged In, and 'The Cold Room', The Cold Room - S1-E12, both of which were received positively by fans. Shortly after however he would be recalled to prison. Yanko got released in late April of 2023 and released his single FREE JT soon after, on the 7th of May. This track quickly reached 1 million views on YouTube. On the 25th of August Yanko released his single Painting a Picture. The music video that was uploaded to YouTube on the same day later got taken down by police a few days later. On the 15th of October Yanko released another single, Life of a Rider.
