Ha SooYoung (하수영; born May 24th, 1997), better known as Yves (이브), is the ninth member of the South Korean girl group LOONA (이달의 소녀), leader of its third sub-unit LOONA/yyxy (이달의 소녀 yyxy), and a Korean soloist under PAIX PER MIL and GOLDEN MOON. Yves was born in Busan, South Korea and she had dreamt of being a singer from a young age. Yves grew up to become a vocalist, dancer, and rapper in LOONA. In high school, Yves was on a dance team, however she hid it from her disapproving mother, eventually revealing it to her in Grade 11. Before debuting, Yves trained for 3 weeks, having one of the shortest training period out of the members of LOONA. On November 27th, 2017, Yves debuted as a member of LOONA with the solo single album Yves, as part of the pre-debut Girl of the Month project under BlockBerry Creative. The single album included lead single new, which was described as the first track released in the genre of Soultronica in Korea. She was a part of multiple other LOONA works prior to the group's official debut on August 20th, 2018, such as The Carol 2.0 released on December 13th, 2017, featuring members ViVi and Choerry, and Girl's Talk released on December 18th, 2017, a duet with member Chuu, which was included as the B-side track on Chuu's pre-debut solo single album Chuu. Following a partial win against label BlockBerry Creative granting her a temporary injunction from the company on June 16th, 2023, Yves announced that she would be pursuing solo activities. On March 13th, 2024, it was revealed that Yves has officially signed with PAIX PER MIL to manage her solo musical activities. On signing with the label, Yves says I joined PAIX PER MIL because I want to offer fans something unexpected. I'm on a journey to find 'serenity,' and being part of a label that values individual peace and diversity feels like the right fit. On May 14th, 2024, Yves launched her official fanclub website and announced her first solo showcase LOOP in support of her first mini album. Hours later, PAIX PER MIL formally announced through a press release that her first EP LOOP will be released on May 29th, 2024. The EP includes four tracks of various genres from folk to alternative R&B, ꒰...꒱ expressing in a variety of ways what Yves found as she looked into herself. Yves released the digital single song Tik Tok on August 30th, 2024 as a surprise gift to fans who have supported her throughout her career. Yves returned on November 14th, 2024 with her second EP titled I Did, displaying her unique strengths as a solo artist and shar꒰ing꒱ her journey to find peace as an artist. A deluxe edition of the EP titled I Did: Bloom (Deluxe) was later released on January 16th, 2025. It featured two new tracks, BIRD and See you in hell. Yves released her first remix album Dim ∞ on April 1st, 2025 following the rising success of Dim on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. On July 20th, it was announced that Yves will be making a comeback with her third EP titled Soft Error, set for release on August 7th.
