Dhruv Sharma, known mononymously as dhruv, is an Indian-born, Singaporean-American musician. He released his debut single "double take" on May 24, 2019, while a third-year student at Yale University. The song gained popularity on TikTok and was placed on Spotify's Today's Top Hits playlist in 2021. He followed this with "moonlight" and "vulnerable" in 2020. The themes of his music revolve around his experiences as a young, queer Indian man. With his latest EP, 'rapunzel', released in Jan 2022, he's taking the world by storm as he marks his foot in the industry as one of the most promising new artists.
