nosneb

nosneb is a pseudonym for Josh Benson who has been recording music since 1999. His previous musical incarnations include Hogle Lab, Status : Zero and an array of other short-lived projects. The style is imitative to prominent Futurepop/Electro-industrial artists such as Assemblage 23, mind.in.a.box, VNV Nation and Haujobb to name a few. Though his methods and programming techniques are similar to those used by the afore mentioned artists, nosneb's style contains elements of a wide variety of electronic genres, gravitating around ebm, futurepop, and to a lesser extent industrial. nosneb finished working on his ambitious "Love and Reason" project in 2008, releasing select tracks on Myspace. Now, the album is available on last.fm in its entirety. In 2009, nosneb released a track from the follow-up to Love and Reason called "Keep it Inside" which is the first nosneb track to feature vocals. The track is available at nosneb Myspace page. Later in 2009, nosneb released Somewhere Between Love and Reason, an updated version of the debut with five new tracks, including the catchy and stoic Keep it Inside, and the laid back I'll Take You.
