Growing up in the vibrant cultural environment of the Caribbean, he was exposed early to traditional rhythms and percussion instruments. His musical journey began with ten years of playing the drums, which laid the foundation for his rhythmic sensibilities and deep understanding of Caribbean soundscapes. Discovery of Music and Production Skills Although he was familiar with music from a young age, it was through digital media—especially YouTube videos of modern music production—that he became fascinated with electronic beats and sound design. Without formal training in music notation, he learned to produce by ear and on small keyboards, blending styles he absorbed from his father’s R&B influences with Caribbean traditions.
