Aestrid is a four-piece Dutch alternative rock / post punk / shoegaze band based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Originally established in the central Dutch town of Soest in 2003, and fronted by Bo Menning (who also released solo music under his own name), Aestrid released their début EP, At Point Wish / 747 ­Fragment Till Stiga Up, in 2003. The band underwent several personnel changes over the years. The 2023 line-up features founding member Bo Menning (vocals, guitars), Clasine Haringsma (guitars, vocals, keys), JJJ Sielcken (bass, keys, guitar), Ray Kornet (drums).
